Great question, in 100 years, people might look at our smartphones and wonder if they were some kind of ancient artifact. Will they think our memes were sacred texts? Will our TikTok dances be considered sophisticated art? The possibilities are endless.
We are excited to collaborate with participants, volunteers, and sponsors in planning an unforgettable event for Chelsea's 400th year in 2024. Join us in celebrating our city's rich history and vibrant community.
The Law & Licensing Department is aware of annual special events held by many throughout the City and we are hoping that each event will highlight something from Chelsea's history. We would love to throw support behind any and all of your ideas.
